Coriander leaves for garnish
For the Seasoning
1/4 Teaspoon cumin seeds
4-5 black peppercorns

Step 1: Add oil to a pan and let it heat. Add cumin seeds and when they begin to splutter add chopped onion and fry until the onions turn golden brown. Add ginger garlic paste, stir well and fry for 1 minute.
Step 2: Add chopped tomatoes or puree and cook until it begins to leave the sides of the pan.
Step 3: Add red chilli powder, turmeric powder, garam masala, coriander powder, green chilli and green peas. Mix well and add ½ cup of water. Cover and cook until halfway done.
Step 4: Now add vegetarian meat and stir well until the vegetarian meat is coated well in the masala. Pour in just enough water to make a thick gravy.
Step 5: Bring the water to a boil, cover, and cook on a low flame for 5 to 8 minutes until the gravy is well cooked. Garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot with rice or roti.
