Proteiz Pulao

Ingredients

100gm Good Dot Proteiz

100g Basmati rice

100gm Onion cut in slices

3 Tablespoons RCM Health Guard Oil

1/2 teaspoon Red chilli powder

2 teaspoons Ginger grated

1 tablespoon chopped coriander leaves

Salt to taste

Flavoring whole spices

1 teaspoon Cumin seeds

6 cloves

2 bay leaves

1 stick cinnamon

2 black cardamom

6-8 black pepper seeds

Method

Step 1: Wash rice well and soak in cold water and strain after 30 minutes. Put 100gm Proteiz in 1/2 ltr. Hot water and soak for 6-7 minutes. Drain out the water and squeeze out excess water thoroughly. Break Proteiz in small pieces with hands.

 

Step 2: Heat oil in a pressure cooker add all Flavoring whole spices and fry till splutter then add sliced onion and stir fry on low flame until golden brown then add piece of Proteiz, salt, red chilli powder and mix well.

 

Step 3: Now add soaked and well drained rice and mix well. Pour water double the quantity of rice, mix well. Close the lid of pressure cooker and cook till 2-3 whistles. Open the lid after few minutes, garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot.
