100g Good Dot Proteiz
¼ Tablespoon chili powder
½ Tablespoon chaat masala
½ Tablespoon garam masala
RCM Health Guard Oil for deep frying
½ Cup gram flour
2 Tablespoons corn flour (optional)
¾ Teaspoon carom seeds
1 Teaspoon ginger chili paste
Step 1: Put 100g Proteiz into 1 litre of water and boil it for 6-7 minutes. Drain out the water, let the Proteiz cool, and squeeze out excess water thoroughly.
Step 2: Cut Proteiz to desired sizes. Sprinkle red chili powder, garam masala and chaat masala. Toss them well in the bowl. Set this aside.
Step 3: Heat oil in a deep kadai on a medium heat. Add gram flour, corn flour, salt, carom seeds, red chili powder, ginger chili paste to a bowl. Add water just enough to make a thick but free flowing batter. When the oil is hot enough, dip each Proteiz piece in the batter, swipe off the excess dripping batter. Drop it in the hot oil.Gently keep stirring & flipping to fry evenly until they turn golden.
Step 4: Spread chat masala according to taste and serve Proteiz Pakoda hot with chutney or a cup of tea.
