Proteiz Curry


100g Good Dot Proteiz

4 tablespoons RCM Health Guard Oil

1 cup finely chopped onions

1 cup finely chopped/pureed tomatoes

1 teaspoon cumin seeds

1 tablespoon ginger garlic paste

4 green chili slits

½ tablespoon red chili powder

¼ tablespoon coriander powder

¼ tablespoon turmeric powder

1 teaspoon garam masala powder

2-3 cups water

Salt to taste

Coriander leaves for garnish




Step 1: Put 100g Proteiz into 1 liter of water and boil it for 6-7 minutes. Next, drain out the water, let the Proteiz cool, and squeeze out excess water thoroughly. 


Step 2: Heat oil in a pan then add cumin seeds. When they begin to splutter, add chopped onions and fry until the onions turn golden brown. Add ginger garlic paste, stir well and fry for 1 minute.


Step 3: Add chopped tomato or puree and cook until it begins to leave the sides of the pan.


Step 4: Add red chili powder, turmeric powder, garam masala, coriander powder, green chili, Proteiz and salt.


Step 5: Stir fry for 3 minutes stirring often until the Proteiz are well coated in the masala. Pour in water, just enough to make a thick gravy.


Step 6: Bring the water to a boil. Cover and cook on a low flame for 5 to 8 minutes, until the Proteiz is well cooked. Garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot with rice or roti.
