1 green chilli slit
1/4 tablespoon red chilli powder
1/4 tablespoon coriander powder
1/4 tablespoon turmeric powder
1 teaspoon meat masala
2-3 cups water

Coriander leaves for garnish
Step 1: Add oil in a pan, let it heat and add cumin seeds. When the seeds begin to splutter, add chopped onions and fry until the onions turn golden brown. Add ginger garlic and stir well. Fry for 1 minute.
Step 2: Add chopped tomatoes or puree and cook until it begins to leave the sides of the pan.
Step 3: Add red chilli powder, turmeric powder, meat masala, coriander powder, green chilli, vegetarian meat and salt.
Step 4: Stir-fry for 3 minutes, stirring often until the vegetarian meat pieces are coated well in the masala then pour in just enough water to make the gravy thick.
Step 5: Bring the water to a boil then cover and cook on a low flame for 5 to 8 minutes, until vegetarian meat is well absorbed in the gravy.
Garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot with rice or roti.
