Crispy

Crispy Hot & Spicy Veg Meat

Ingredients:

250 grams Veg Meat

For the Marinate

1 tablespoons ginger-garlic paste

5 green chilis, chopped

1/2 teaspoon white pepper powder

1 tablespoon wheat flour

2 tablespoons corn flour

2 teaspoons vinegar

1/4 teaspoon ajinomoto (optional)

Salt to taste

For the Sauce

2 tablespoons refined oil (we recommend RCM Health Guard Rice Bran Oil)

2 tablespoons chopped ginger-garlic

2 tablespoons red chili sauce

2 tablespoons green chili sauce

2 green chilis chopped

1 tablespoon tomato sauce

1 teaspoon white pepper powder

1 teaspoon soy sauce

1/2 tablespoon vinegar

1/4 teaspoon ajinomoto (optional)

1 tablespoons corn flour (dissolve in 1/2 cup cold water)

1/2 cup of chopped spring onion

Salt to taste

Method

 

Step 1: Open the Veg Meat packet and take out the pieces.

 

Step 2: Marinate Veg Meat with all the marinate ingredients for 30 minutes.

 

Step 3: Heat sufficient oil in a pan/kadai then deep fry the Veg Meat pieces until golden brown.

 

Step 4: Heat 2 tablespoons refined oil in a frying pan. Add chopped ginger-garlic, green chillis and fry for 1 minute.

 

Step 5: Add fried Veg Meat and all the remaining ingredients of for the sauce, except chopped spring onions, stir-fry on a high flame for 1-2 minutes.

 

Step 6: Take off of the heat and sprinkle chopped spring onions on top. Mix well and serve hot.
