Through a chance encounter, complete strangers on opposite sides of the planet connected – because of a shared mission. Unbeknown to them, these soon to be social entrepreneurs were all searching for a way to decrease suffering by bringing vegetarian meat to the market. A group of animal lovers in Udaipur, India joined forces with an animal activist in America, and Good Dot was born.

Good Dot is an Indian start-up in the rapidly growing industry of plant-based protein products. We manufacture products in India, for India, by India.

Abhishek Sinha,

Co-Founder & CEO

Enticed by his love for animals and his wife’s involvement in Good Dot, Abhishek started as an advisor but could not ignore the opportunity to make a difference. He made a brave and unprecedented decision to resign his position as the Deputy Commissioner of Income Tax to oversee Good Dot’s R&D and manufacturing. Abhishek’s experience and graduate degree in engineering make him a priceless asset for the Good Dot team. He is an avid animal lover and has an undying commitment to save lives by bringing plant based meats to the Indian market.

Deepak Parihar,

Co-Founder & CFO

Deepak is a successful serial entrepreneur that was looking for a way to make a difference. His connection to Taranum and Abhishek brought him to this opportunity. Overseeing all of Good Dot’s financial, legal, and back-end operations, he is the glue that makes Good Dot strong. Deepak is a Chartered Accountant and Company Secretary; has worked as the CFO of a leading consumer goods company in India; and built various successful companies in India.

Taranum Bhatia,

Co-Founder & Director of Giving

Leveraging her love for animals and experience in charitable operations, Taranum will head Good Dot’s corporate giving program. Taranum’s experience includes helping to set up Divya Mother Milk bank, North India's first human milk bank, where she served as the Chief Administrative Officer. The venture received wide recognition and was featured in BBC News and Times of India. Taranum Bhatia has a post-graduate degree in Sociology and taught Sociology at the graduate level in Udaipur.

Shruti Sonali,

Co-Founder & VP of Innovation

Shruti is leading the way for Good Dot's expansion into other product lines and distribution channels. A seasoned entrepreneur, she launched a chain of upscale restaurants in India, most recently receiving the Times of India Food Award for 2017. She brings almost 15 years of experience in the hospitality industry to the team having worked for multi-national companies such as Taj and Hilton.

Abhinav Sinha,

Vice President (Strategy and Business Development)

A scientist by training, Abhinav got his PhD in Biochemistry from Oregon Health and Science University (Portland, US) and an MBA in Marketing & Strategy from the Indian School of Business (Hyderabad, India). Abhinav brings to GoodDot a deep knowledge of R&D, product development, marketing and strategy through tenures in global MNCs. Driven by a passion to make a difference in the society, Abhinav uses his technical expertise to guide product development, growth strategy and operations at GoodDot.
